Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion Giveaway :: CLOSED

Wednesday, November 11, 2009

Winter. Harsh winds, breath taking cold weather. Jack frost nipping at your nose. And your fingers, and your elbows, and your knees. That's the one part of winter time that I down right dread. The elements take such a toll on my skin this time of year, it literally hurts. I've used Skin MD Natural Shielding lotion before and have raved about it. Let's refresh your memory, shall we?

I love that the natural shielding lotion is fragrance free, as that tends to really irritate my skin. And while I admit that I was skeptical when I read that I only needed a small amount {I scoffed thinking, surely my skin will soak it up like a biscuit does gravy!}. It did indeed absorb quickly and I waited for that dryness to quickly follow, but this time it didn't. It actually locked in the moisture and I didn't think about it the rest of the day. It wasn't greasy - I could turn a door knob. By far this is the best skin care product I've come across, and I've tried so many. I'm completely sold.
Read the rest of my review here.
I still use Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion especially as of late with the weather changing. The heater is on in our apartment most of the day, and I'm sure that doesn't help the quality of my skin either.

You can purchase Skin MD Natural™ online or find a location near you that sells it. Give yourself and your loved ones the wonderful gift of healthy nourished skin! Slip a bottle in their stocking.

Skin MD was kind enough to offer up a bottle of their Natural Shielding Lotion to one of my readers!

This is merely a giveaway to offer my readers, provided by Skin MD. The review excerpt was taken from a past review I wrote for Skin MD Natural Shielding Lotion. I received no compensation for this post. You can read more about my reviews in my Acknowledgment Policy.

Everyday skin care routine should provide complete protection and hydration to the skin. To achieve this goal, harsh environmental irritants along with excessive sun radiation should be kept away from the skin so that it remains youthful and healthy

In order for the skin to heal and return to its healthy condition you have to seal in the moisture and oils that are below the outer layer of skin and protect it from the irritants in the environment

I read that A good dry skin treatment can lock in natural moisture to help get rid of (or prevent) fine lines and wrinkles – which makes a huge difference in how we look. Many dry skin care treatment products contain chemicals that dry the skin further, and clog the pores. Your best bet is a good natural shielding lotion.

I learned:

If you have an unsightly blemish you'd like to get rid of fast, try a good natural shielding lotion. Really, it could be gone, or close enough to it, with just one application.
How does it work? A good natural shielding lotion made without toxic and irritating chemicals and with healing ingredients like aloe vera, Vitamin E and chamomile helps the skin heal on its own by locking in natural moisture and protecting the skin from chemicals, dirt and other substances. Once it's protected, it can accelerate the healing process without interference.
