Matilda Jane Clothing Review

I hadn't heard of Matilda Jane Clothing until a couple of months ago.  Matilda Jane is a clothing line unlike any other I've seen. In fact, their quite fitting tag line is "an unpredictable clothing company".  I probably spent the better part of an hour window shopping online, swooning over different tops and bottoms, dresses, even accessories. Every item just seemed to put a smile on my face. There's a carefree quality about them. While you can certainly browse around their website, placing orders online has been temporarily put on hold for now. You can however get hooked up with one of the MJC Trunk Show keepers -- whether it be hosting a Trunk Show or learning more about how to become a "Jane" yourself.

Hosting a trunk show is as easy as pie, as we say here at Matilda Jane. All you have to do is invite your friends. We supply the catalogs and invites. You provide the fun. Our Trunk Keeper will bring samples of all the available clothing and in various sizes. Your guests can place their order at your home. In a matter of a couple weeks a package will show up on your doorstep and the fun will begin again. Pass out the goods to your friends and prepare yourself for oodles of compliments.

Doesn't that sound fun?? Shopping in the comfort of your own home, with your friends and family! Matilda Jane offer sizes 6 months on up to adult, so even the un-moms and tweens can join in on the Trunk Show.
Matilda Jane Clothing was kind enough to send Charlie two pieces from their line. I literally squealed when I opened the beautiful package.
We received one of the Nest dresses and a pair of adorable "ruffles", an MJC staple. I loved the length of the Nest dress, it was just long enough to where she could wear warmer pants underneath or simply pair it with a pair of boots. I love the lapover neck opening, seriously more children's clothing should have them!!! This dress fit her like a glove! We played and I couldn't help but notice Charlie kept looking down and checking the dress out. She would flip the skirt of the dress up, she'd shimmy and shake to feel the dress twist around. Oh she loves it.

The ruffles look so cute too. I honestly worried if they would accommodate her cloth diapers, but they did just fine! She's worn them under the Nest dress and just with one of her plain onesies; each is equally sweet. Especially when she runs around! I love the way they sway with each step she takes. So does everyone else, Charlie wore the dress and ruffles together over the weekend when we had company and we received quite a few compliments on her outfit!

With all of the unique designs and beautiful fabrics chosen, Matilda Jane Clothing is definitely worth browsing. Though it might be hard to refrain from booking an MJC Trunk Show. Don't say I didn't warn you. I'm afraid I might be hooked already...
